Does my cat need to be vaccinated and identified?
I accept all cats, whether they are identified and vaccinated or not.
However, I would like to remind you that vaccination against feline enteritis and cat flu is recommended if your cat is used to going outside because these diseases are highly contagious.
My cat is ill and/or needs to follow a medical treatment, can you take care of it?
I accept visits to sick animals provided they have seen a vet and an appropriate treatment has been prescribed. You must inform me of your pet’s health condition when making the booking. In the case of contagious diseases (ringworm, feline enteritis, etc.), I may have to refuse the service to protect the health of my other clients (possible contamination via clothing).
If medical treatment needs to be administered, you simply need to provide me with the instructions, medications, and the vet’s prescription, and the cat must be at least somewhat cooperative. Whenever possible, the usual time for administering the treatment will be respected. Please specify this when making the booking so that I can organise accordingly.
Vet visits are only carried out in case of an emergency during a regular visit.
Liability in case of damage
Damages due to the cat sitter’s negligence are covered by my liability insurance. The client’s property, particularly valuable items, must be protected and insured by the client. The cat sitter’s liability in the event of theft, such as in the case of a break-in, is excluded.
In the event of the animal’s death due to old age, illness, or an accident, the cat sitter cannot be held responsible.
All liability is also declined if the cat has access to the outside and disappears. In such cases, I commit to filing a lost animal report with STMZ.
